Although her therapeutic approach stems from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Vanessa incorporates additional methods and techniques from various counseling models. Her objective is to create an empathic and safe environment free of judgment that allows you an opportunity for reflection, healing, and growth.

Additionally, Vanessa enjoys working with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, self-worth, self-esteem, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and challenges with life's unexpected trials. Vanessa also offers EMDR therapy for those suffering from complex trauma and PTSD. She is incredibly passionate about working with individuals to help them find their voice while learning how to express emotions, challenge anxious thoughts and negative self-talk, be assertive, and implement healthy boundaries to initiate their journey to self-discovery.
Vanessa graduated with her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Amberton University in Garland, TX. She has experience working with individuals from various ethnicities, cultures, mental health diagnoses, and the LGBTQ+ community.
